We are looking for a kind and patient carer to support a lovely 8 year old boy who is autistic with ADHD. He is a really sweet boy who is potty trained, communicates in 3-word sentences, and loves the piano and his tablet. He has plenty of activities he enjoys at home so there is no obligation to take him out at all, as he feels more comfortable being in his safe, familiar space.

He has a sleep-safe bed and happily goes to bed at 8:00 PM — after that, you’ll just need to be present in the home while he sleeps.

What we are looking for

- Someone calm, kind, patient and understanding — experience with autism/ADHD is a big plus, but most importantly a gentle, caring nature

- Comfortable staying at home with him — no outings required

- Reliable and consistent — especially for those September dates

- Happy to follow his simple routine and keep him company with his favourite things

This is a really straightforward role — you’re simply keeping him safe, happy and company in his own home. He’s easy to be with once you get to know his little routine.
