The IKEA Släkt bed is perfect for those needing more storage and for your relative needing to feel more grown up as an inbetweener!
The bed has been used by my son for 2.5 years but as he’s growing like a weed he needs a bed that is more suited to him. I used Command Hooks to tape the padded headboard to the wooden one - take it off if you’d like!
The Släkt offers a higher than normal sleeping platform due to the 4 drawers underneath but if you’ve no room for a chest of drawers then this will be what you need! The Luröy slatted base and Hafslo mattress (sprung, no longer available) are such a comfy combination - the mattress feels like new.
So let your little one settle in quickly with this bed and sleep soundly!
