Welding Coordinator

Description

Due to internal changes and continued success, we are seeking an experienced welding coordinator to join our team in Walsall on a permanent basis.

As a Welding Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

* Review welding requirements

* Issuing weld consumables and procedures

* Responsibility for the jobs once they are released

* Putting together weld history sheets, including maintaining weld maps

* Support the calibration and maintenance of welding plant and equipment

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:​​​​​

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of welding and fabrication

* Ability to interpret and work with engineering documentation and certificates

* Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach

* Proficiency in IT systems, including Word and Excel

Desirable Skills & Experience:

* Welding coordination experience or qualification CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection

* Knowledge of NDT techniques (Visual, MPI, DPI)

* Hands-on welding experience with TIG, MIG, and STICK processes

* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently

Working Hours:

* Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 04:30pm

* Friday: 08:00am - 01:30pm

* Overtime available
