We are looking for a hard-working individual to work as an electrical assembly operative (ME2) in our manufacturing department.

The primary day to day duties of this role will include but not be limited to:

The assembly of the following products in accordance with established procedures, work instructions, and build manuals:

Heat treatment transformers Heat treatment mains units Temperature recorders Temperature programmers Sub-assemblies

The ideal candidate will:

Be committed to working safely Be reliable with excellent timekeeping skills Be highly organised with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Computer literate Experience of working with wiring looms, panel wiring and reading of electrical drawings/diagrams would be an advantage Holding a relevant level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing Job information:

28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays (holiday allowance increases to 30 days holiday, including bank holidays, once 5 years’ service has been completed) Pension scheme Friendly working environment Free on-site car parking at the Wigan site 40 hours per week, 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to FridayHow to apply for the role:
