The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to support day-to-day operations. The role focuses on ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and quality standards, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting stock control activities.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am 3:00pmGBP27,500 per year Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the industrial vending machine, always ensuring availability of required itemsManage stock control, including maintaining adequate inventory levels in both the vending machine and stockroomMonitor and replenish general office supplies as part of day-to-day operationsSource, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliabilityRaise and process purchase orders in line with company proceduresNegotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve cost savingsMonitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needsTrack orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and servicesResolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and pricing discrepancies Required Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roleStrong administrative background with excellent organisational skillsEffective negotiation and supplier management abilitiesGood analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems is advantageousStrong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills:

Experience with contract managementKnowledge of inventory control and logistics processesExperience in cost reduction and strategic sourcing initiatives
