Store Assistant
Location: 2 Lower Cherwell Street, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5AY
Pay Rate: 12.26
Shift times: Monday – Friday shifts between 07:00 – 17:00 (Working 24 hours a week over 3 days, but could go to 5 days when needed)
Duration: ASAP – ONGOING
Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our National Client based in Banbury for a Store Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start with potential to go perm for the right candidate!
Requirements of the role:
General Store Assistant DutiesMust be able to driveRetail – Clerical and Stock Control DutiesGood customer service skills are essential. Candidates will also ideally have retail experience. DIY experience/knowledge would be preferred but not essential. Candidates need to have a flexible attitude, duties include serving customers, cash handling, computerised till operation, uploading and stocking displays.
Your responsibilities:
Take orders over the telephoneComputerised till operationContact customers for ordersWrite customer orders and advice notesCarry out general clerical duties as requested by Store ManagerForward returns, completed delivery notes etc to Head OfficeOperate Company's stock control system
