About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven Internal Business Development & Account Manager to join our fantastic client in the West Midlands.
My client specialises in the Metals & Engineering industry. You ll be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts while also generating new business opportunities from within. If you re passionate about forging strong relationships, have a hunger to succeed, and want a role where your efforts directly influence success, this is for you!
What You ll Do
Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing clients in the metals sector, ensuring satisfaction and retentionIdentify and pursue new business leads and cross–selling opportunities within target marketsHandle enquiries, prepare quotes, and convert prospects into ordersWork closely with external sales, operations, and production teams to coordinate order fulfilmentMaintain detailed CRM records of customer interactions, pipeline, and performanceMeet and exceed agreed sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectivesProvide market feedback, competitor analysis, and suggest strategies for growth What We re Looking For
Proven experience in account management, business development, or internal sales, ideally in the metals, manufacturing, or industrial sectorsA strong relationship builder confident, personable, and excellent at maintaining customer loyaltyHighly driven, self–motivated, with grit and determination to hit targetsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsOrganised, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitaskComfortable working in a target–driven environmentProficient with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools advantageous What You ll Get
