TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a large private day nursery in Chelmsford, currently caring for up to 125 children. The setting is designed to support child engagement with a therapeutic approach, offering both indoor and outdoor age-appropriate areas with sensory-rich activities. Children are encouraged to explore, take safe risks, and challenge themselves in a secure and nurturing environment.

We are seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the team on a long-term basis, with the opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidate. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and may work across different rooms, supporting children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. As the nursery continues to grow, there will also be exciting career progression opportunities available.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

Level 2 qualification required (Level 3 desirable)

Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

A flexible and adaptable approach

A positive, proactive attitude with the willingness to get involved
