FULL-TIME CAR SALES & VEHICLE PREPARATION ASSISTANT

Dolphin & Sons Car Sales Ltd – High Wycombe

We are a busy, family-run used car dealership in High Wycombe and are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

Working Days: Wednesday to Sunday

Days Off: Monday & Tuesday

Position: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Bonus: Additional sales-related bonus available based on performance

The Role

This is a varied position combining car sales, customer service, office administration and vehicle preparation. Duties will include:

Assisting customers with vehicle enquiries, viewings and sales Following up sales leads and customer enquiries Answering telephone calls, emails and online enquiries Helping with the day-to-day running of the sales office Taking photographs and videos of vehicles for advertising Preparing vehicles ready for sale and customer collection Checking vehicles are clean, presentable and properly prepared Moving and organising vehicles around our premises Taking and collecting vehicles from garages, MOT stations, bodyshops and dealerships Assisting with vehicle collections and deliveries General administration and sales paperwork Keeping the sales office and vehicle display areas clean and organised Supporting the team with all aspects of the dealership What We Are Looking For

A full UK driving licence is essential.

The successful applicant should be:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking Confident and friendly when dealing with customers Sales-minded with a positive attitude Presentable and professional Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles Computer literate and comfortable with basic office/admin work Willing to get involved with both sales and hands-on vehicle preparation Able to work independently and as part of a small team Honest, organised and have good attention to detail Previous motor trade, car sales, valeting or dealership experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person as training can be provided.

This is not purely an office-based sales position. We are looking for someone flexible who is happy to get involved with every part of the business, from speaking with customers and selling vehicles to preparing cars and collecting them from workshops.

There is also an opportunity to earn an additional bonus based on vehicle sales and individual performance.
