Working for this well–established distributor as a Trade Counter Assistant, you ll provide day–day support across the trade counter and branch, ensuring customer requests are fulfilled and satisfaction is kept high.

Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire and commutable from Dewsbury, Batley, Birkenshaw, Birstall, Shipley, Leeds and Wakefield this is a full time, permanent role with a growing nationwide business that values teamwork, reliability and delivering great service every day.

What will you be doing in a typical day?

Providing day–to–day support across the trade counter and branch, working as part of a reliable, team–focused environmentHandling customer enquiries by phone and email, using clear and confident communication skillsPreparing picking slips and working closely with the warehouse team to process orders accurately and efficiently, with strong attention to detailServing customers at the trade counter, processing orders , handling warranty returns , supplying parts and helping to maintain accurate stock levelsSupporting occasional local deliveries when required, so a full valid UK driving licence is essential for this role.

The call out requirement is rare but does require your availability over the weekend and bank holidays if it falls on those days. This is on a 5 week rota basis and a bonus is payable for each callout. A FLT licence would be also be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided. A driving licence is essential.
