Description
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy.
I practice long term and short term therapy, both individually and with couples
My practice is at the Wellington Well-being Centre in Hastings
I have a huge love and respect for animals and believe that they can be extremely therapeutic especially when working with trauma and sensitive issues and I therefore practice animal assisted therapy with my beautiful black friesian horse.
I work within a relational framework as I believe that building a therapeutic relationship is the key towards learning who one is the world and to establish ways of change.
I am a Registered Member of the United Kingdom Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (UKCP), United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA), registered member MBACP and European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA), and follow their ethical codes and practices. This includes having regular supervision with other experienced professional psychotherapists, and engaging in regular training and other professional development.
