Description

If your bath looks tired, stained, scratched or simply outdated, bath resurfacing (also known as reglazing / re-enamelling / refinishing) is a cost-effective way to restore a clean, smooth “like new” finish without removing the bath.

I’m a bath resurfacing and repair specialist and I complete the work in your home. Most jobs are completed in a single visit with full masking and careful preparation to protect your bathroom and deliver a tidy, professional result.

Suitable for:

Stains, dull or worn enamel

Scratches and heavy wear

Old, uneven or peeling coatings

Colour refresh (subject to options)

Baths with chips, rust spots and other damage (assessment required)

Even if your bath is in very poor condition:
In many cases I can restore baths with serious surface damage, multiple chips, rust and worn areas by carrying out the right prep and repairs before resurfacing. Send clear photos and I’ll advise the best approach.

How the process works (overview):

Quick inspection of the bath condition and problem areas

Full masking and protection of surrounding surfaces

Repairs where needed (chips/rust/imperfections — subject to assessment)

Thorough surface preparation (cleaning, keying, degreasing, etc.)

Application of a professional coating system for a smooth, glossy finish

Final checks, clean-up and aftercare instructions

Typical timings:

On-site work usually takes 4–6 hours depending on condition and prep required

The new coating typically cures in around 24 hours before normal use (I’ll confirm after the job)

Options available:
I offer different coating options to match budget and expectations. The main difference is durability and warranty level. I’ll recommend the best option once I see the bath photos and condition.

Pricing:
Bath resurfacing from £400 (final price depends on bath condition, repairs needed and selected coating option).
For an accurate quote, please send:

3–6 clear photos (including close-ups of any chips/cracks/rust)

Areas covered:
Areas covered: Greater London + Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Northamptonshire.

Important note:
Resurfacing restores the surface finish; if a bath is structurally unsafe (e.g., severe structural failure / through-holes), I’ll advise honestly from photos/inspection on the best solution.
