Description
This is a beautiful 1974 Mark IV classic convertible Triumph Spitfire with overdrive. The engine runs well and the vehicle drives wonderfully, but this is a project, and cannot be driven on the road yet, obviously. I have had it for five plus years but it has stood in the garage for most of that time as I've worked on it.
The clutch has a new master and slave cylinder and works well. The brakes have a new master cylinder and there are new shoes with it. They need bleeding. New coil, capacitor, points and solenoid.
Loads of parts go with it. foam for seats. Covers for when the roof is down.
All tyres are good. Spare needs a new valve it seems.
This car is over 40 years old and is officially classed as an historic vehicle. Eligible for Vehicle Tax Exemption, MOT Exemption, ULEZ Exemption. It is an all round exceptional car, crying out for someone to give it some TLC to get it back on the road and make it beautiful again.
I was doing that but age caught me up. So now it's yours, if you want it.
Clearly the date of registration is not 2026. It's 1974. The program wouldn't let me change it. Sorry. Forgot to mention.
The floor has been replaced, sills also. The boot is virtually rust free. A paint job, and the windows, are about all there is to do.
Cash or bank transfer only.
