240V Elu flip saw and Elu wet/dry vacuum (plus a non-operational Elu flip saw for spares)

Description

I'm selling my Elu flip saw (also known as a combination flip-over saw as it is both a chop saw and a table saw) and Elu wet/dry workshop vacuum. Both in good working order to be sold together, along with another Elu flip saw that is non-operational (not pictured). The equivalent Dewalt flip saw sells for over £1,000, so this is a great deal.

The flip saw is a model TGS 271, 240V. A few very minor blemishes that do not affect the operation, which I hope the pictures represent. The only thing that may not be obvious is that the fence for the table saw is a bit off at the back, although I’ve been able to rip 2m-long scaffold boards and edge joint them to make a kitchen counter surface with no problems. Elu is the forerunner of Dewalt and loads of spares still available should you need them. The blade is 60tpi (I think) that was professionally retipped by a tooling company in Edinburgh not long ago.

The Elu wet/dry vacuum is extremely powerful – it is a beast! However, given it's age, you can no longer buy dust bags (I think). I have it connected to a cyclone dust collector, which catches most things, and I only need to take out the filter and tap out the dust a few times a year.

The non-operational flip saw (not pictured) I acquired to cannibalise for spares, although it’s a different model and not all parts are compatible. I've not provided a picture of this as it's locked away in storage. You could also sell the spares online (eBay etc), there’s a thriving market for such things, and you would be able to recoup most, if not all, of the cost of buying this equipment, so it's a great deal.

Collection only (Annbank, Ayr) and I’m happy to demonstrate that everything works. I’m selling it all as one package, so all or nothing. The flip saws are quite heavy, but the legs can be removed, so no problem transporting them in a small car.
