1964 Greeves Essex
Lovely 1964 Greeves Essex fitted with the Villiers 2T engine. A great little British classic with loads of character and a real reminder of the lightweight motorcycles of the period.
The bike runs and rides and has a nice, honest appearance with plenty of period charm. The distinctive Greeves frame and Villiers 2T engine make it something a little different from the usual British classics.
It also comes with a very good portfolio of paperwork and history, including old MOT certificates, previous V5s and a good stack of invoices from Villiers Services covering spares and work carried out over the years. It's always nice to see this sort of history with an older bike and it gives a useful insight into its life and maintenance.
A lovely bike for someone looking for a characterful 1960s British lightweight to enjoy, with perhaps a little fettling along the way. Ideal for local bike nights, classic motorcycle events or simply getting out and enjoying a bit of British motorcycle history.
