Description
Marine grade solar panel designed for harsh environments . Panel size 71cm square , 12mm thick including 2mm marine grade aluminium backing plate. There are 8 x 10mm mounting holes and the unit is clamped together with 24 M6 A4 stainless steel nuts and bolts. The panel front is toughened glass ( not plastic ) so no UV degradation. Connection is via a 60mm x 60mm x 30mm junction box and approximately 2 metres of CAROL 16/2 90 c water resistant SOW CSA (-40 c) FT2 P-7K -123033 MSHA cable made in USA. The Panel output is 12 volt 40 watt. The panel was used for a marine project which lasted approximately 4 years and then placed in storage. Originally supplied by BP Solar at a cost of £550.00 because of the high spec . More than 10 panels currently available for sale @ £45.00 each. Panels can be used for various projects but not limited to , Battery Charging , Security lighting / Alarms , Electric Fences , Outbuildings Lighting , Electric Gates , Log Drying , Water Pumping.
