With us now at RFH Classics we have this 1967 (F) Morris Minor 1000 4 Dr finished in the ever popular Trafalgar Blue with the contrasting Blue Vinyl Interior. This car has come to us in part exchange and is a very clean example both inside and out. The panel gaps are all very straight and even and while there is no receipts for restoration, we have an extensive history folder containing receipts and invoices dating back to 1996 as well as a journal of work undertaken. In the folder there are also a a large number of previous MOT tests and tax discs going back to 1995.

Under the bonnet of this lovely example is an engine bay that is very well presented. Power for this one is from the 1098cc A-Series engine, well known for delivering improved performance and drivability over earlier engine versions. The A Series is well known for being exceptionally reliable and this lead free car starts on the button with minimal choke and quickly settles to a very smooth running car that is paired with a 4 speed manual gearbox. Overall this charming Minor presents well with period correct Old English White Steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and very clean brightwork.

Launched in 1948 and produced all the way through until 1971, the Morris Minor was a revolutionary car that was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis, the designer who later went on to create the iconic Mini. With its unitary construction, torsion bar front suspension and spacious interior the Morris Minor was ahead of its time.
