Bought from The Roofbox Company (John Jordan Ltd). Never unwrapped or used because I changed my vehicle before it was needed.
The Thule OutWay Hanging 2 is a premium rear-mounted bike rack designed to carry up to two bikes securely on the boot or tailgate of your vehicle. Carries two bikes: The rack has a maximum load capacity of 30 kg and a maximum bike weight of 15 kg.
Secure mounting: It uses rubber-coated steel cables and a twin-hook attachment to provide maximum fastening security and protect the vehicle's paintwork.
AcuTight torque sensor: An intuitive torque-limiting tightening system ensures the rack is mounted to the vehicle correctly, confirming when the correct tension has been reached.
Anti-sway cradles: Soft, rubber-covered cradles absorb road shock, and an integrated anti-sway system prevents contact between bikes and with the vehicle.
Integrated locks: The rack includes locks to secure the bikes to the carrier and the carrier to the car, providing added theft deterrence.
Adjustable arms: The bike arms can be adjusted laterally to accommodate a variety of frame sizes, including children's bikes. For bikes with non-traditional frames, such as some mountain bikes or step-through frames, a Thule Frame Adapter is recommended (sold separately).
Foldable design: The bike arms fold down when not in use, and the entire rack folds flat for easy transport and convenient storage.
Boot access: You can open the vehicle's boot with the rack attached, as long as there are no bikes mounted on it.
