Description
A 1970's small bud vase by Crown Staffordshire of the Chelsea Manor collection. The main colour & background is white with an unusual delicate floral design around the bulbous part. The white glaze is smooth and shiny and the floral pattern is slightly in relief It has gold around the top rim. The approx. measurements are: the top diameter is 1.1/8" (2.5cm), the base diameter is 2" (5cm), the mid diameter is 3" (7.5cm) & the height is 5.3/4" (15.5cm). It weighs 0.144kg. Just beneath the rim at the top there is a small mark that is a manufacturers fault, I think it is paint & part of the glaze, see photos. It makes the vase unique in its own way. Other than that it is in the same condition as when I bought it and that includes the inside. It came from a China shop called Newham's based in Newark in the late 70's. I may have used it once in the past but in general it has spent its life with my other china vases which I am now downsizing. It can be collected, it can be posted or I can meet within a reasonable distance. I have other items for sale including ither ornaments and I would be happy to combine and do a deal.
