Vintage Rock a Cha suit.
I bought this suit in 1986 from Rock a Cha who then had a stall in Kensington Market on High Street Kensington London. The company still exists, unfortunately Kensington Market does not. The suit comprises of a double breasted jacket and pegged trousers, I would say its Prince of Wales check. It is made of pure wool. As for size the jacket is a 36 the trousers are a 30/32 I need to confirm which.
This suit saw outings to The Mud Club and The Wag, possibly Sol y Sombra, Café d Paris, Heaven and other 80’s clubs and events my memory unable to separate the blur.
Despite the outings it is in excellent condition and shape. It would have been dry cleaned during those years. There are no stains to be seen. One of the trouser cuffs has come undone. There is a tiny hole on the front of the jacket. (see photo) It doesn’t smell but it would benefit from a dry clean.
