This is an excellent opportunity for an AV professional with a strong background in corporate events to take responsibility for the technical delivery of a busy calendar of events within a corporate head office environment.

You will oversee all aspects of event AV, from initial planning and identifying technical requirements through to setup, live operation and post-event support. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers a high-quality experience.

The role also involves supporting meeting rooms, advising clients on technical requirements and contributing to the continuous improvement of AV services. You will join an established team with access to modern technologies, ongoing training and opportunities to develop your technical expertise.

Set up, configure, operate and dismantle AV equipment for events.

Follow event function sheets to ensure all technical requirements are delivered accurately.

Manage live event AV, including sound, microphones, presentations, video and display systems.

Provide technical support for video and audio conferencing, including point-to-point and multipoint events.

Ensure all events run smoothly, resolving technical issues promptly and minimising disruption.

Provide meeting room AV support when required.

Technical Operations and Equipment

Support multi-camera systems and vision mixing for live events.

Configure and operate Crestron control systems, including virtual and physical signal routing.

Work with AV technologies and systems such as AMX, Extron, ClearOne, Polycom, Tandberg, Lifesize and Mediastar.

Support a range of display technologies, including video walls and different display formats and aspect ratios.

Apply basic stage lighting principles when required.

Troubleshoot AV equipment, conferencing systems and signal distribution issues.

Maintain consistent technical standards across all events and ensure equipment is used correctly.

Client Service and Team Collaboration

Deliver a professional, client-focused service throughout the event lifecycle.

Respond to enquiries received through the Events team mailbox in a timely manner.

Work closely with the AV Events Team Leader, onsite management and other technical colleagues.

Report service issues or shortcomings to the appropriate team leader.

Maintain service standards in line with agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).

Travel between client sites as required.

Complete administrative tasks and other duties assigned by senior team members.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

Follow relevant health and safety procedures, including applicable first aid requirements.

Comply with information security policies, standards and procedures.

Ensure event processes and technical procedures are consistently followed.

Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, technical processes and operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative responsibilities as required.

Keep technical knowledge up to date through training and professional development.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in a client-facing corporate events environment, with a strong understanding of live event AV production.

You should demonstrate:

Hands-on experience delivering AV for corporate events within a professional environment.

Practical experience operating digital sound desks, managing microphones and adjusting EQ.

Experience with multi-camera control systems and vision mixing.

Knowledge of Crestron control systems and AV signal routing.
