Job Overview
Bevington Motors is a well-established and fast-paced vehicle retail business based in Bridgend, South Wales. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our vehicle preparation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for sale and carrying out warranty repairs to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and assess mechanical and electrical vehicle components to accurately diagnose faults
Repair or replace vehicle parts and systems, including engines, gearboxes, clutches, flywheels, brakes, and suspension components
Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on vehicles of all makes and models
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and effectively
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards and health and safety requirements
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Requirements
Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or vehicle technician
Full, valid UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to work
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
