We are an established independent garage in Birmingham specialising in mechanical repairs, engine replacements and engine rebuild work.

We are looking for a strong, experienced mechanic who can confidently carry out major mechanical work including engine removals and refitting. You will be working alongside an experienced engine rebuilder, so your role will focus on removing and reinstalling engines and carrying out mechanical repairs efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Removing and refitting engines and gearboxes

• Timing chains and timing belts

• Clutches and flywheels

• Turbo replacements

• Suspension and braking work

• General mechanical repairs and servicing

• Supporting engine rebuild work by removing/refitting units

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4–5 years workshop experience

• Confident removing and reinstalling engines and gearboxes

• Able to work independently without supervision

• Fast, organised and reliable

• Takes pride in their work and avoids comebacks

Experience with German vehicles (Audi, BMW, VW, Mercedes) is highly desirable.
