Master Technician / Vehicle Mechanic – Class 4 & 7

Christchurch Commercials is looking for an experienced Master Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join our friendly, professional workshop at 11 Airfield Road, Christchurch.

We work on cars, vans and Class 7 commercial vehicles for private customers, local businesses and fleet operators. This is not an HGV position.

The role will include:

Servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs
Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
MOT preparation and repairs for Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles
Brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts and engine repairs
DPF and AdBlue diagnosis and repairs
Using modern diagnostic equipment
Completing work safely and to a high standard

Applicants should have strong mechanical and diagnostic experience, be able to work independently and hold a full UK driving licence. A Level 3 motor vehicle qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.

Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tester status, EV/hybrid qualifications and experience working on vans or fleet vehicles would be advantageous, but are not essential.

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £50,000-60,000 per year, depending on experience

Hours: 40 Hours per week with optional overtime
