Siamo Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Ecommerce Associate to join one of the largest manufacturers and international importers at their site in Coventry.

JOB TITLE: Ecommerce Associate

LOCATION: Coventry

REPORTING LINE: General Manager

Leading international housewares brand known for its stylish, functional tableware and kitchen accessories. We are expanding our online presence and are looking for a motivated ecommerce associate to manage and grow our business on UK marketplaces such as Amazon and Wayfair.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 37 hours a week 9-5:30

Salary – 25-35k depending on experience

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Marketplace Management: Own daily operations for our Amazon UK Seller Central account, Wayfair portal and other UK ecommerce platforms. Maintain accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory levels across all channels.

Listing Creation & Optimization: Write and upload product content (titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, images and A+ content) that is SEO‑friendly and consistent with brand guidelines. Optimize listings to improve search ranking and conversion rates.

Order & Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment with warehouses and logistics partners, and manage fulfilment (FBA/FBM). Ensure timely processing of orders, returns, and refunds.

Advertising & Promotions: Plan and execute marketplace advertising campaigns (e.g. Amazon PPC, Wayfair Sponsored Products). Track performance and adjust bids and budgets to maximize ROI. Assist with promotions, deals and seasonal campaigns.

Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, reviews and escalations. Resolve issues related to orders, product questions, shipping and returns, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Analytics & Reporting: Analyse sales data, traffic metrics, keyword performance and competitor activity. Prepare regular reports that highlight trends, opportunities and recommendations to drive growth.

Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure listings adhere to marketplace policies and UK/EU regulatory requirements (product safety, packaging, VAT, etc.). Stay up to date with platform changes and best practices.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, operations and customer service teams to ensure consistent product presentation and timely fulfilment.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Ecommerce Experience: 2+ years managing products on Amazon Seller Central; hands‑on experience with Wayfair or similar UK marketplaces. Familiarity with listing tools, keyword research and catalogue management.

Data & Analytical Skills: Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, marketplace dashboards and analytics tools to interpret data and drive decisions. Experience with reporting platforms or ecommerce software (e.g. Junglescout, Shopify) is a plus.

Marketing Acumen: Understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, paid advertising and conversion optimization. Ability to write compelling, benefit‑driven product copy.

Organizational Skills: Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple SKUs and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Experience with inventory planning or operations coordination is advantageous.

Communication & Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to collaborate across departments and communicate with suppliers, logistics partners and external customer service teams.

Problem‑Solving: Proactive, resourceful and driven to find solutions. Adaptable to changes in marketplace algorithms, policies and customer expectations.

Preferred: Knowledge of UK/EU consumer regulations (product compliance, VAT). Experience with FBA/FBM fulfilment methods, EDI integration or multi‑channel listing software. A background in home goods or lifestyle products is an asset.Why Join US?
