Van Driver

Description

We are recruiting for a reliable 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our clients manufacturing team based in Middlesbrough.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on driving and delivery-collection role. The successful candidate will spend part of their working day driving and collecting material, but the role also involves regular manual lifting, loading and unloading, often handling heavy or bulky materials.

Key Responsibilities

* Driving a 3.5 tonne van safely and responsibly

* Loading and unloading materials from the vehicle

* Carrying and manually handling items throughout the working day

* Collecting materials from customers and delivering to site.

* Checking loads and ensuring goods are secure before departure

* Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures where required

* Following all company health and safety procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds a full UK driving licence and is legally entitled to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle

* Has previous van driving or delivery/collection experience (preferred)

* Is comfortable with regular manual handling

* Is comfortable xjnqpsq lifting, carrying and moving heavy or bulky items safely

* Is reliable, punctual and hardworking

* Can work independently and manage their time effectively

Please note: This is not purely a driving position. It is a physically demanding role involving frequent manual lifting, loading and unloading, so applicants should be comfortable with the physical requirements of the job
