Pay: £12.71 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee PCB Assembly Operative to join our production team in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in electronics manufacturing, with training provided.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in line with production schedules

Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly guidelines

Ensure all work meets quality standards and company specifications

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times

Day-to-Day Duties

Performing basic PCB assembly tasks such as component placement and soldering

Using hand tools and basic assembly equipment

Inspecting components and finished boards for defects or quality issues

Packing and labelling completed products

Reporting any faults, issues, or shortages to the supervisor

Supporting senior technicians with more complex assembly tasks as you develop

Keen interest in electronics or manufacturing

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Good timekeeping and reliability
