Description
Technical Manager
Food & Drinks Manufacturing
South West UK
GBP40,000 – GBP50,000
This is a clear brief for an iconic South West business with strong ambitions to grow and build on an already impressive platform.
With a long–standing presence in food and drink manufacturing, the business is now looking to elevate its standards. They are seeking a Technical/Quality professional to build robust systems and drive consistency on a site where technical processes have been implemented in parts over time, but lack cohesion.
The role will focus on three key priorities:
Leading the transition from SALSA to BRC over the next 12 months.Bringing together existing technical processes to create a structured and effective Quality Management System.Developing and upskilling a small quality team. While these are the core objectives, the business ultimately needs a driven, well–rounded Technical/Quality professional who is dynamic and capable of growing with an exciting brand.
This is a genuine opportunity to make a lasting impact and shape how the operation runs for years to come.
Your background
You will have proven experience leading food or beverage manufacturing sites through BRC audits, with strong knowledge of the latest BRC standards. Experience working with major retailers and understanding their technical requirements is also essential.
