Shot Blasting Operative

Location: Sittingbourne

Pay: GBP15.85 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm 10:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Shot Blasting Operative to join a busy industrial environment in Sittingbourne. This is a hands–on position working with metal components, preparing surfaces to the required standard and supporting the wider production team.

The role offers a temp–to–perm opportunity for someone with previous shot blasting or relevant industrial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces Preparing and finishing components to the required specification Working with materials and components up to 5 metres in length Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and consistency Identifying and reporting any issues with components Supporting the wider production team with additional duties when required Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Following all company health and safety procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience in shot blasting or a similar industrial environment Experience working with large metal components would be beneficial Good attention to detail and a focus on quality Comfortable working in a hands–on and physically demanding environment Reliable, punctual and hardworking Able to work effectively as part of a team
