We are working with a specialist motorsport supplier renowned for delivering precision–engineered components to elite racing teams and performance manufacturers. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to join their close–knit team and take ownership of all quality operations within the business.
This is a hands–on role where you'll not only manage the company's quality systems but also lead by example on the shop floor – conducting detailed inspections, supporting root cause analysis, and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a small quality team, providing guidance and support.Perform hands–on inspection of precision components using a range of measuring equipment (Micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).Maintain and develop the company's ISO 9001 quality management system.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and inspection.Liaise with customers on quality issues and corrective actions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Quality Management role within a precision engineering or motorsport environment.Strong practical inspection background.Confident leader with excellent communication and problem–solving skills.
