Description

We're looking for a Project Manager to oversee engineering and fabrication projects end–to–end, with a focus on quality, timelines, and collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical precision with structured project delivery – turning complex designs into practical, on–time outcomes.

You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with engineers, fabricators, and clients to ensure each stage – from concept and design through to manufacture and delivery – runs smoothly. The position suits someone who's comfortable being both hands–on and strategic: reviewing CAD drawings one moment, then leading project reviews and coordinating suppliers the next.

A background in mechanical or process engineering, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment will help, but specific heat exchanger experience isn't essential. What matters most is a solid grasp of engineering principles, an eye for technical detail, and the ability to drive tasks to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and deliver engineering/fabrication projects within scope, budget, and schedule.Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.Review and prepare CAD drawings and associated documentation.Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.Provide technical input and support design teams in resolving issues.Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).Strong organisational and communication skills.Confident managing multiple projects concurrently.Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.ACS are recruiting for a Project Manager.
