Production Supervisor

Location: Daventry

Commutable from: Daventry and surrounding areas

Salary: 44,460 per annum

Hours: 45 hours per week 07:00 – 17:00

The Role

Responsible for managing production teams and ensuring manufacturing output is delivered efficiently in line with the production plan.

Managing and monitoring production process improvements to maximise efficiencySupporting a customer–focused approach and continuous improvementReducing downtime and improving productivity through work study processesWorking closely with production planning to meet output targetsSupervising and motivating production teamsReviewing performance alongside the Production ManagerIdentifying training needs across the teamEnsuring health and safety procedures are followedHandling first line production HR mattersLeading 5S audits across departmentsCoordinating stocking and kitting activities for production

About You

Proven experience in a hands–on production supervisory or management roleExperience within manufacturing environments including welding, laser, CNC or pressworkStrong organisational and communication skillsAble to motivate teams and work collaboratively across departmentsIT literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookFlexible, proactive, and able to prioritise workload

Desirable

Experience within high mix low volume manufacturingBackground in automotive, aerospace or similar industriesKnowledge of lean manufacturing methodsSix Sigma training
