Production Operative - Paint Line

(14:00–22:00) (Monthly Pay)

NN4 - Northampton

Full-time, Permanent

If you enjoy hands-on, practical work and being part of a team that keeps production moving, this could be a great fit. This is a PM shift role within a busy manufacturing environment, suited to someone reliable, safety-focused, and happy working in a manual setting.

About the Role

Working as part of the Paint Line team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the preparation and processing of components through the paint line. This is a physical, shop-floor based role involving manual handling, quality checks, and working to set processes to ensure products meet required standards.

You’ll be fully equipped with PPE and supported with training where needed, including for tasks outside your immediate function.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Processing components through the paint line production process

* Preparing products prior to painting and coating

* Hanging and removing components safely from the line

* Carrying out visual quality checks during each stage of the process

* Operating safely within a manual production environment

* Using lifting equipment and mechanical aids where required

* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation

* Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets

* Following health and safety procedures at all times

* Supporting other areas of the operation when required, with training provided

Physical Requirements

This is a manual role involving lifting and moving components and working within an industrial manufacturing environment.
