Production Line Leader Temp to Perm

Location: Kingswinford

Contract: Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks)

Shifts: Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating weekly.

Overtime: Paid at 1.33x after 37.5 hours

Please note: Due to the location and shift patterns, own transport is essential.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Line Leader to oversee a busy production line and lead a team in achieving daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

This is a hands–on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast–paced manufacturing environment and can motivate teams, solve problems proactively, and ensure smooth day–to–day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support a production team to achieve hourly and daily targets Manage labour effectively to meet production volumes and cost objectives Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards Maintain high standards of health & safety, GMP, and hygiene compliance Complete production documentation accurately and use the integrated management system (Vision) Assist with training, onboarding, and development of new starters Support continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction activities Liaise with agency staff and provide regular operational feedback Monitor KPIs including output, quality, waste, training, and health & safety performance Participate in team leader meetings, reviews, and performance management processes Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within a production or manufacturing leadership role Confident managing and motivating teams in a fast–paced environment Good understanding of quality standards, hygiene procedures, and health & safety requirements Comfortable completing production paperwork and using internal systems Proactive, hands–on approach with strong communication and organisational skills This role would suit an existing Line Leader, Senior Operative, or Step–Up Supervisor looking to progress further.
