Why join our client

Our client is an innovative industrial operator working at the forefront of advanced thermal processing. With the site currently in commissioning and moving into full operations, this is a rare opportunity to join early, influence standards, and build long-term progression in a safety-led environment.

The role

This is a hands-on, plant-based position operating and monitoring pyrolysis systems and associated equipment. You’ll play a key part in safe, efficient production while supporting the transition from commissioning to full shift operations.

Shifts

* Potential move to 8-hour, 3-shift rotation

Key responsibilities

* Operate, monitor, start up and shut down the pyrolysis plant and auxiliary systems

* Adjust temperatures, pressures and flow rates to maintain optimal conditions

* Identify and respond to alarms, deviations and equipment issues

* Record, analyse and report process and production data

* Prepare materials, manage goods-in and move materials through the system

* Carry out routine inspections, basic maintenance and housekeeping

* Follow all HSE procedures, permits, risk assessments and HAZOPs

* Communicate effectively across shift handovers and support new starters

What we’re looking for

* Technical qualification or apprenticeship in process operations or engineering

* Experience in industrial, thermal, chemical or continuous process environments

* Strong safety awareness and process control understanding

* Willingness to work shifts

* Full UK driving licence and own transport (remote site)
