Packaging Supervisor Vacancy

Location: Hatfield, HertfordshireJob Type: Full-timeSalary: GBP45k - GBP50k per annum, depending on experience We are seeking a Packaging Supervisor/Team Leader to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our packaging operations within our highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves close collaboration with various teams and requires a proactive, highly accountable individual who can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Day-to-day of the role:

Team Management: Support the management of Packaging Operators by providing feedback, attending performance reviews, and facilitating regular development discussions.Standards Maintenance: Own and maintain documented standards for packaging area activities, ensuring adherence and taking corrective actions as necessary.Training Support: Assist in identifying training needs and support the production technical trainer with the training program.Performance Management: Monitor packaging performance against KPIs, lead cross-functional meetings to discuss performance, and drive actions for improvement.Problem Solving: Lead both proactive and reactive problem-solving initiatives, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.General Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for line issues, manage communication and coordination for timely issue resolution, and deputise for the Production Shift Manager as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong technical writing skills.Effective communication skills across various levels of the organisation.Experience in a similar role within a production or packaging environment is preferred. Competencies:
