Salary circa GBP65,000 a year plus benefits package Sunderland Permanent staff position An experienced Operations Manager is wanted to head up a highly skilled team at their growing manufacturing facility in Sunderland.

The company manufactures a range of specialist equipment for a global customer base spanning multiple industry sectors.

A key part of a global engineering group, they are taking the next exciting steps in their business scale–up and are looking for the right leader to help them on this journey.

What You ll Bring to the Team

Proven operational leadership within an engineering/manufacturing environment, in a position such as Operations Director, Site Lead, General Manager etc Strategic thinking with strong leadership skills A proven track record of managing day–to–day operations while also contributing to long–term corporate growth strategies. Degree educated in a relevant field is a benefit, but not as important as the experience you ll bring with you What You ll Be Doing

Overseeing all operations at the manufacturing site, effectively managing the business as it scales up. Developing a high–performing team, fostering a positive, collaborative culture. Leading the team through the various challenges of a new factory set–up Working with the Board to develop and implement growth strategies Implementing process improvements & cost–saving initiatives (without compromising quality) to enhance operational scalability Forging strong relationships with key suppliers & customers
