Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location:

Coventry

Commutable from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Hinckley, Rugby, Leamington Spa

Salary:

£12.90 - £15.50 per hour (DOE) + Overtime Available

Shift:

Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday Early Finish

About the Company

A well-established engineering and manufacturing business supplying into automotive, aerospace, and specialist equipment sectors. The company is known for its supportive working environment, strong team culture, and commitment to developing its workforce. Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are now expanding their assembly team.

The Role

Due to the expansion of existing contracts, the company is now recruiting for up to 4 Mechanical Assembly Technician positions.

Mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies

Working from engineering drawings and build instructions

Using hand tools and power tools to assemble parts

Conducting quality checks to ensure builds meet required standards

Assisting with testing and basic fault finding where required

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You

The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Assembly Technician position will have previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar hands-on role

Must be able to read and interpret basic engineering xjnqpsq drawings or instructions

Confident using hand and power tools

Good attention to detail and quality standards

Reliable, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Licence / Certifications

No formal qualifications required (training provided)

Engineering or mechanical qualification (desirable, not essential)
