Description

Are you an experienced Manual Mill Operator looking for a secure, long–term role with a company that values skill, precision, and teamwork?

Hours:

Mon–Thurs: 14:30 to 22:30 ( hour lunch)

Fri: 12:30 to 20:00

What You'll Be Doing

Operating manual milling, drilling, and lapping machines to precise specifications.

Working from detailed engineering drawings and using precision measuring tools.

Producing complex, high–tolerance components for critical applications.

Collaborating with your team to achieve on–time delivery (OTIF) targets.

Maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient work environment.

Supporting continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Good experience in a precision engineering or toolroom environment.

Skilled in manual milling operations and confident with a range of measuring instruments.

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices within a workshop.

A proactive team player with excellent communication and problem–solving skills.

Bonus Skills (not essential):

Experience with surface grinding or fitting/assembly work.

Apprenticeship or college–level qualification in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
