Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision components, following technical drawings and specifications. You will play a vital role in ensuring products meet exacting quality standards and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities of the Machinist

Operate manual and CNC machinery to produce precision components.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.

Set up machines, adjust tools, and select appropriate materials for each job.

Monitor production processes, making adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

Conduct routine inspections and measurements to ensure components meet tolerances.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any issues promptly.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.

Essential Skills & Experience of the Machinist

Previous experience operating manual and CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Strong attention to detail with excellent quality control skills.

Good understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and materials.

Basic mechanical maintenance skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem–solving and troubleshooting abilities.
