Proactive Global currently is looking for a Labourer/Sheet metal worker to join one of our customers based in Feltham - TW13

£12.50 - 13 PER HOUR

Feltham - TW13Major Accountabilities

To assist with operating the Waterjet machines.

Loading and unloading sheet metal using lifting equipment.

To de-bur and "clean-up" metal parts using handheld grinder and linisher.

To assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the Waterjet machines, as well as their pumps.

Reading and deciphering engineering drawings.

To liaise with the design engineers to ensure that work carried out is accurate, resolving issues as they arise.

To be available for evening and weekend work when the business requires it.

Supporting other employees as required and if you are safe/trained to do so.

Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and reporting any faults/hazards, in accordance with Company Health and Safety requirements.

Any other duties determined by the Team Leader or Line Manager.

Key competencies:

Assisting machine operation.

Basic maintenance skills (pipe and pump work especially).

Using hand tools and basic power tools.

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Able to keep working area clean.

Work as part of a team.

Possess excellent communication skills.
