Full–Time

Monday to Friday Flexible working hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Goods In/Out Operative to join a busy and growing organisation in Dartford. This role is ideal for someone with experience in goods receiving, dispatch, stock control and customer service who enjoys working in a fast–paced environment.

The Role

As a Goods In/Out Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the business. You will be responsible for receiving, booking in, picking, packing and dispatching products, while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing products for dispatch

Receiving and booking in incoming goods

Logging information accurately onto the ERP systemManaging incoming and outgoing courier deliveriesPackaging products securely and arranging collectionsGreeting customers and providing a professional service during handoversCompleting all relevant documentation for incoming and outgoing itemsMaintaining a tidy and organised area

Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepanciesSupporting periodic full stock takesAssisting wider teams as required

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience within a Goods In, Goods Out, Stores or Warehouse roleExperience within a customer–facing environmentGood IT skills and confidence using computer systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organisational and time management skillsThe ability to manage changing priorities effectivelyA positive and proactive approach to workStrong communication skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and EnglishDue to location, you do require your own transport
