Description
Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a FLT Driver to start work in Wilpshire, BB1 area immediately.
Duties include:
Understanding daily customers orders tickets and working out ways to package the products in the most effect way on pallets to reduce transport costs. Picking the products with the use of a FLT for the coils of pipe Picking any small fitting needed Using a pallet shrink wrapping machine Once orders are complete, loading onto wagons for dispatch Unloading wagons with FLT with any incoming materials and putting them away safety Keeping warehouse area s clean and safe Daily stock checks of pipe and fitting Replenishing Stock levels During the day there will be times when you will be able to use our plastic welding machine to weld pipe together and add shoe ends to them. Requirements:
Prior experience in packing or warehouse environments is essential. Capable of working efficiently in a fast–paced setting. Must be multi skilled in terms of been able to spin several plates at a time Detail–oriented with a focus on accuracy and time keeping. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team. This is a physical role, so you need to me physically fit. Hold a Fort Lift Truck license Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Having a minimum of 4 GCSE s including English and Maths. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00am– 17:00pm.
Pay is GBP12.71 an hour. Temporary – permanent contract for the right person.
