Fire Door Assembly Operative GBP37,500 GBP40,000 Basic Salary + Extensive Overtime + Potential Bonus Scheme
Location: Romford, Essex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Start: Immediate starts available, although we can wait for the right candidate.
Emberstone Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing company in the Romford area that is looking for an experienced Fire Door Assembly Operative to join its workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong practical background who can hit the ground running, with the potential to progress into a supervisory role overseeing this section of the workshop.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in fire door assembly would be ideal. However, we would also welcome applications from experienced individuals with transferable skills in:
Fire door installation and fitting
Carpentry and joinery
Window and door fitting
Similar workshop–based assembly roles
What We're Looking For
Extensive hands–on experience and strong practical skills
Ability to work independently and confidently from day one
Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
Previous fire door assembly experience highly advantageous
Own tools preferred, although some can be supplied
No formal qualifications required
Own transport essential (car or motorbike) due to the workshop location
Ambition to progress and potentially take responsibility for the workshop section
