CNC Turner/Programmer (Fanuc) Location: Chesterfield

Salary: GBP33,000 GBP45,760 per hour, depending on turning and programming experience

Contract: Permanent Day Shift

We're currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing precision engineering company based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner with Fanuc experience, with pay ranging from GBP16 to GBP22 per hour depending on your ability across programming, setting and operating.

The business is looking for someone who can bring strong technical knowledge, produce high–quality components and work confidently within a precision engineering environment.

The Role Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.

Manufacturing precision–engineered components to specification.

Writing, editing and optimising CNC programmes.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machines.

Carrying out first–off inspections and quality checks.

Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality throughout production.

Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Turner.

Experience with Fanuc controls is essential.

Programming, setting and operating experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
