CNC Setter/Operators – Milling

Location – Southend–On–Sea

Salary – 30,000 – 37,000 depending on experience

A world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are currently searching for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to working days. You will need to have extensive CNC Milling experience using Mazak and be able to work from drawings to produce aerospace components.

Duties:

Setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small–batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limitsManufacturing all components within an agree timescaleBe responsible for setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when requiredUse a wide range of measuring equipment to check small–batch components Make sure that manufactured products are suitably protected for transitMentor new staff as requiredBe responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paper work is filled out correctly.

Experience:

Extensive CNC Milling experience is essentialMust be able to read engineering drawings, set CNC machines and use measuring equipmentMust have Mazak CNC Machining Centre experienceAbility to work using Metric and Imperial is a mustYou will ideally be qualified to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Aerospace industry experience preferredThe ideal person would have completed an apprenticeship and attended training courses.
