CNC Programmer – Weekend Nights (Fri–Sun, 6pm–6am)

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Salary: 25 ph + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a long–term role with cutting–edge machinery, interesting work and a growing engineering team? We're recruiting for a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join a well–established manufacturing company with over 45 years of success in precision engineering.

This is a weekend night shift position–perfect if you enjoy condensed working weeks and excellent work/life balance.

The Role

You will be working in a fast–paced machining cell, responsible for:

Programming, setting and operating vertical CNC machining centres

Completing frequent, efficient changeovers on varied components

Conducting 1st–off and in–process inspections to ensure high quality

Working with a wide range of materials, including exotic alloys

Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings to deliver conforming parts

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years' CNC machining experience

Confident programming Siemens and Heidenhain controls

Strong background with 3–axis and 4–axis machining (5–axis an advantage)

Excellent understanding of tooling, work holding, cutting strategies

Able to work to the highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality

A great team player with strong communication skills
