CNC Miller - Setter/Programmer

Location: BasildonJob Type: PermanentWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Join a leading aerospace precision engineering company known for its high-quality, bespoke components and innovative solutions. Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Miller - Setter/Programmer to join their team, delivering unique and challenging projects in a high-precision, low-volume environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Work independently on Mazak, Hurco, and Haas CNC milling machines.Interpret technical engineering drawings to develop and implement effective machining strategies.Devise and implement workholding solutions tailored for bespoke components.Set, prove out, and operate CNC mills, ensuring precision aerospace components are produced accurately and efficiently.Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and ensure all work meets tight tolerances and high-quality standards. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience as a CNC Miller in a high-precision, low-volume manufacturing environment.Proficient in working from complex technical drawings with minimal supervision.Familiarity with Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc, and Haas control systems.Preferred experience in aerospace machining.Methodical and detail-oriented approach, committed to producing work of the highest quality.
