Description
Our client, a major contributor to a high–profile rail infrastructure programme shaping the future of UK transport, is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance across all phases of delivery with a strong knowledge of buildings, civils and structures.
As the Quality Manager, you will be the central figure for all quality–related matters on site. Your duties will include:
Acting as the primary point of contact for quality across the projectAssisting the project team in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Reviewing ITPs submitted by subcontractors for compliance and completenessRegularly reviewing and updating the Quality Management Plan (QMP)Participating in progress meetings and reporting quality concerns to senior managementCollaborating with Construction Managers to ensure quality processes are implemented on siteConducting inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality procedures and standardsSupporting teams in compiling and submitting quality documentation packagesManaging non–conformities and driving performance improvement actions to closureProviding quality input into supplier pre–qualification assessments when required
Job Requirements:
We're looking for someone who brings:
Proven experience in quality management within large–scale infrastructure or rail projectsStrong understanding of construction quality systems, ITPs, and QMPsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently and drive quality culture across the project
