£15 - £17 per hour

Our client, a respected engineering company located in Bristol, is currently looking for a proficient CNC Miller to become part of their expanding team.

CNC Miller Roles and Responsibilities:

* Set up, operate, and program CNC milling machines

* Interpret and work from engineering and technical drawings

* Create and modify toolpaths using the Fanuc CNC programming language

* Prepare machinery, inspect fixtures, tooling, and ensure correct setup

* Inspect and measure components to verify compliance with specifications

* Carry out minor maintenance tasks to ensure smooth machine operation

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

* Report any issues or discrepancies with existing setups, programs, or documentation

CNC Miller Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience working in a precision engineering environment

* Experience with plastics machining (desirable but not essential)

* Proficient in CAD/CAM software

* Confident reading and interpreting Fanuc CNC toolpaths

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* High attention to detail with experience using various inspection methods

* Able to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines

CNC Miller Working Hours and Benefits:

* Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 16:45

* Friday, 07:30 – 12:30

* Overtime available

* 28 holidays including bank holidays, increasing up to 33 days with length of service

* Company pension entitlement after 3 months

* Free car parking
